Okay so I have been thinking. God is so amazing right? Of course. I just don't see how "believers" can sit there and make false statements about God. It is plainly right in front of them if they read his word. I'm am in our chat room here and people are telling me that God does not Love every one he only Loves the elect or "Believers/chosen ones" That's not true in my opinion. I read the Bible and know that God loves everyone even the sinners. He just does not Love there sin. I don't know how these so called "Christians" can say things that are not true. I'm just wondering what the rest of you think about this subject. So please tell me you take on it. I want to know every ones opinion weather you are agreeing with me or not. Keep the Faith.

I've gotta say I agree - the first part of John 3:16 "For God so loved the world". Sounds like He loves us all.

I understood God as Father much more once I became a father myself.

I love all my children. Each of them shows love differently, and each of them respond to different types of love (yes, I buy the Love Languages theorem - but I see it in my own life, so why wouldn't I?)

I try to offer the same things to my children. Sometimes they take it, sometimes they don't. I know their temperaments, and so there are times that I offer things and I know who will accept and who will reject. IMO, so it is with God. He loves us all, and offers all of us salvation through Christ. But He knows all His children, and knows who will accept salvation and who will not. This doesn't mean that he retracts His offer. Simply that He's saddened knowing those who won't.

Romans 9:13 "For Jacob I loved, Esau I hated." God hates non-believers. That is what I believe

If God hates non-believers, how is it that ANY of us have salvation as NONE of us believe at birth?

LowPost, before God made man, he knew who he would save. He loves the people who will go to heaven and hates those who don't. If God loves non-believers, then why would he send them to hell forever? Think about it.
