My wife insist she wants a divorce. She says she is certain.
She is a new christian and has much to learn about God's word, life, etc.
I love her and I do not say I am perfect. I pray that God works with me to better myself and that I may be a help and positive influence upon others but I do realize my wife is naive in many ways, immature and very impatient. She has even admitted to me that she is impatient.
She said to me not long ago, "I'm a bad woman and you're a good man".
I told her NOBODY is perfect!
I don't expect her to be perfect as neither am I.
Reluctantly I signed the divorce papers and sent them to her today. I prayed that I am doing the right thing. I still believ God can help us, lead us, guide and direct us.
It is in her hands and in God's hands. Please pray with me that she will see the errors of divorce and be reconcilied with me. I love her dearly and cried many tears over the past few weeks.
I took the suggestion of many of you here and bought some books by Christian authors. I expect them to arrive tomorrow.
I pray several time a day about my life, family, marriage. We don't have any mutual children but I pray for her and her daughter as I love them both and desire to be a father to her daughter.
I THANK all of you here as you have been an inspiration to me and I can feel the workings of your prayers. I am calm and feel much better than I have in many weeks.
I will continue to keep all of you in my prayers as well.
May God bless everyone that so much as reads this forum!
