Hmm...easier verse to comprhend than some of ur earlier verse that u have posted. Proverbs 27:20- Should probably read this way-Death and the grave never reach the point where they dont claim more victims until the end times. So the eyes od man are never satisfied by anything that the world has to offer. In other words sin is going to be present until God comes again and he makes his final stand at the onslaught with satan where God will prove victorious.

We have two parallel statements here....1. The nature of hell is that it is never satisfied its destruction is a perishing, a perishing that does not end, not ever. It is to be under the wrath of God forevermore. In the same way, 2. the eyes of man, are never satisfied, they never have their fill of lust.
1Jo 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
The bible is full of discriptions of the exceedingly sinfullness of man...ie...the heart of man is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked, who can know it. That sin from Gods perspective, is an infinite evil, and will be answered with an infinite judgment. That man who lifts up his eyes in hell, shall discover that the nature of his judgment matches his sin, and is in complete agreement with the eternal nature of the God he has sinned against. He will remain under the wrath of God, until he has paid the uttermost farthing, of his debt, and it will take him all of eternity to satisfy the demands of hell. Which means he will be there forever, he will never complete his payment, because hell is never satisfied. Thus we see the fanciful idea that hell is anhilation is without foundation.
We see the same thing in Christs sacrifice at the cross.... When Jesus went to the cross, and endured the wrath of God, his Father. It was as if he was enduring hell forever more for all those he came to save. He was their stand in, their substitute, he had taken their place. He was able to endure the wrath of God and completely satisfy the demands of hell because he was God himself. His nature was an eternal nature and able to drink of that bitter cup of his fathers wrath, and drink it dregs and all to the very last drop. When Jesus came forth from the grave we know that the Fathers wrath was satisfied, that his wrath was propitiated, Hell was satisfied for those he died for. So there is now therefore no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus...he paid the utter most farthing, and we are now with him, the sons of God...praise his wonderful name....:-)
