This is a two part prayer request. The first is for my husband Dave and his family. Dave's grandmother passed away yesterday after a long illness. The second is for my family, especially my grandmother Avaline. Her health continues to decline both physically and mentally, and this of course puts a strain on everyone in the family. God bless each of you.

Mel, don't be discouraged or afraid. Remeber everything is in God's hands always. And if He brings you to something, He will carry you through it.

Father God Almighty, i come before You again tonight. Lord God, thank You once again for Mel and Dave. Mel is such a blessing to us all, Lord God, thank You for her life. Father, i ask that You be with Mel and Dave and both their families. Lord God, provide them with the strength to make it through. Lord, with You and only with You are things possible. Lord, You know what its like to loose a loved one. Father, fill the gap in Dave's heart with You. Lord, You also know what it's like to see someone you love suffer. You watched it personally when Jesus was on the cross. Lord, please comfort Mel and her family. Let them have hope and faith in You. For through You miracles can happen. Through You we have peace in the darkest of darkness. Lord, help both of them to remember Your amazing love for them both. Father, i pray this according to Your will, not mine. In the name of my RISEN Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, i pray amen!

Dear Lord:

We pray that you have found a special place in your kingdom for Dave's grandmother. Please wipe away the family tears and their grief. We also ask heavenly Father, that you continue to protect Avaline. Please heal her either in your loving home or here on earth. Your will be done. Please help the family accept this fact and understand your wisdom. Thru Jesus Christ Name We Pray. Amen

Psalms 31:3 For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name’s sake lead me, and guide me.

Hi melbinell,

Thank you for praying for me the other day. This thread is a little old but I wanted to paray for your grandmother Avaline. I hope she is doing well these days.

-Lord, I want to pray for melbinell, she has been concerned for her grandmother Avaline. I pray that you would hear her concerns and prayers for anything that is happening in her life because she prayed for me at a time when I really was in need of a friend and that I may also pray for her grandmother that you would keep her safe and well.

In Jesus name - Amen

Prayer is one of the simplest yet most powerful gifts we can share with others. My grandmother is doing better, though her physical health is still not the best. She is not meant for this earth much longer. In time, she will no longer feel pain, and we will rejoice knowing she is at peace in heaven. Thanks.
