Hello everyone,

What were your favorite books as a child and what did you like about them?:-)

The very first book I read was titled "The Little Boy and the Carrot Seed".

I bought it at the book fair in kindergarten and could just barely read the modest little book. (But a very popular book...)

Who could forget Theodor Seuss Geisel? (Dr. Seuss.)

A Fly Went By, Curious George, Fortunately/Unfortunately... Nancy Drew.

Encyclopedia Brown, Anne of Green Gables, My Friend Flika...

Big Little Books, Little Golden Books and all those SRAs in school.:-O

What are some of your favorites?

Thank you in advance everyone for your posts, and God bless you and yours each and everyone!:af

Love, thx.

I enjoyed Dr. Sueess because I loved all the ryhmes as well as Golden books because I thought the stories were cute.

I also liked The Little old Lady who Swallowed a Fly and The House that Jack Built, because they are good hands on books that you can make into games.

I also liked Eric Carle for his illustrations and stories

Robert Munsch Books were my favorites as well.

And I dont know why but my Favorite would have to have been Oats and Wild Apples which is about A Calf and Fawn who meet and learn about each others' lives, but in the end prefer to be near their mothers.

well thats just about it I almost wrote a book writing about books lol
