This is a poem that I wrote for a poetry class in Ars Poetica form, just thought I might share it with you all...God bless.



If you knew me

If you knew me
you wouldn't expect happy verses,
only saddened lines of ramble
written in past life's shambles

At first look not everything's sad,
For poems written with 20/20 hindsight
are given brilliant twists of truth,
By God's grace and will, I am proof

From worthless wreckless and weak to
faithful fair and forgiven,
Poetic change in chosen views,
In Him a life I choose
