all we can tell by what the bible says is that creation was made to look at those it had already been around for quite some time, Adam and Even were not created kids but full grown adults just as the first animals were created the same way. Plant life were created already to be eaten, so if the human body when we are born has a belly button, we speculate that Adam and Eve had them also, although the bible does not mention this is just speculation.

I am sure adam and eve had belly buttons... They were created as adults and therefore possesed all the charactaristics of a normal adult human. The umbilical cord which becomes the belly button does not cease to exist or cease to perform a function when the baby is born. It does not perform the same function as before birth but the internal parts of the umbilical cord change to perform other functions with different names. For your answer you need to ask a doctor what the function of the belly button is in an adult..and then perhaps if it is not needed...you could have yours removed..:-)

I would say no.Because a belly button is a scar left behind from the removal of ur umbilical cord,which is connected between mother and fetus inside the woumb.So without a physical mother u woul not have a belly button.For EX.in order to have a burn scar u would have to have been burned
