IF SOMEONE HAD A GUN HELD IN FRONT OF YOUR FACE AND ASKED YOU IF
YOU BELIEVED IN GOD, WHAT WOULD YOU DO?
SAY NO AND FEEL ASHAMED THE REST OF YOUR LIFE?
OR SAY YES, I DO, AND DIE STANDING UP FOR GOD?

If you would say no, DELETE THIS FROM YOUR MEMORY.

IF YOU WOULD SAY YES, AND STAND UP FOR JESUS CHRIST, PLEASE READ THIS AND PASS ON.

newspaper less then a year ago

TAKE A DEEP BREATH BEFORE READING THIS :-O

There was an atheist couple who had a child. The couple never told
their daughter anything about the Lord. One night when the little
girl was 5 years old, the parents fought with each other and the
dad shot the Mom, right in front of the child. Then, the dad shot
himself. The little girl watched it all. She then was
sent to a foster home. The foster mother was a Christian and took
the child to church. On the first day of Sunday School, the foster
mother told the teacher that the girl had never heard of Jesus,
and to have patience with her. The teacher held up a picture of
Jesus and said, "Does anyone know who this is?" The little girl
said, "I do, that's the man who was holding me the night my
parents died."

If you believe this little girl is telling the truth that even
though she had never heard of Jesus, he still held her the night
her parents died, then you will forward this to as many people as
you can.

Or you can delete it as if it never touched your heart.

Funny, isn't it?

Funny how simple it is for people to trash God and then wonder
why the world's going to hell.
Funny how we believe what the newspapers say, but question what
the Bible says.
Funny how everyone wants to go to heaven provided they do not have
to believe, think, say, or do anything the Bible says. (Or is it scary?)
Funny how someone can say "I believe in God" but still follow
Satan (who, by the way, also "believes" in God).
Funny how you can send a thousand 'jokes' through e-mail and they
spread like wildfire, but when you start sending messages regarding the Lord, people think twice about sharing.
Funny how the lewd, crude, vulgar and obscene pass freely through
cyberspace, but the public discussion of Jesus is suppressed in
the school and workplace.
Funny how when you go to forward this message, you will not send
it to many on your address list because you're not sure what they
believe, or what they will think of you for sending it to them.
Funny how we can go to church for Christ on Sunday, but be an
invisible Christian the rest of the week. (Are you laughing?)
Funny how I can be more worried about what other people think of
me than what God thinks of me. (Are you thinking?)
Pass this on only if you mean it.
Yes, I do Love God!

I would die. I would never deny my faith. He died for us, a more painful death not just from physical pain but from the emotional pain of all our sins upon him, so I would die for him a releativly easy death compared to him. What about you?

Oh, my gosh, Amy. You really, truly, are feally what I feel. Everything in that article I agree with. I think that we should stand up,and win this thing. I mean, if we're going to be living with the everyday, mug-grub, humbug world, complaing about how no one believes like we do, blah blah blah.... we should GIVE THEM REASONS TO BELIEVE IN GOD. (please reply to me...email is cnburton93@alltel.net)

Did you know that was a song
I think I have it let me see who sang it. It is called The Little Girl and it's a country song. I can't remember who did it.

Her parents never took the young girl to church...
Never spoke of His name...
Never read her his word...
Two non-believers walking lost in this world...
Took their baby with them, what a sad little girl...

Her daddy drank all day and mommy did drugs...
Never wanted to play or give kisses and hugs...
She'd watch the tv and sit there on the couch...
While her mom fell asleep and her daddy went out...

And the drinking and the fighting...
Just got worse every night...
Behind their couch she'd be hiding...
Oh what a sad little life...

And like it always does, the bad just got worse...
With every slap and every curse...
Until her daddy in a drunk rage one night...
Used a gun on her mom and then took his life...

And some people from the city took the girl far away...
To a new mom and a new dad, kisses and hugs everyday...

Her first day of Sunday School...
Her teacher walked in...
And a small little girl starred at a picture of Him...
She said I know that man up there on that cross...
I don’t know His name but I know he got off...
Cause he was there in my old house...
And held me close to his side...
As I hid there behind our couch...
The night that my parents died.

It is by John Michael Montgomery and it is a beautiful song
It is definitely worth getting the CD

It also reminded me of a story...
A man walks into a church with a shotgun...
He pointed the gun at the Preacher and said...
Anyone who will not die for Christ leave now.
Immediately the church emptied except for a small few.
He then put the gun down and said
Go ahead Reverand the true believers are all here...

hey bravocornelius :)

That was an interesting story about the man with a gun. I wonder how many would be remaining in all our churches today. :( How many of us would be brave enough. In theory it is easy to say "Yes I would" but if it actually happened, I have to wonder.......... Mmmmm. certainly is food for thought though. Would we be dying for Christ if we stayed or would be dying for a crazy man! Hah therein lies another question. :-D

Is there really any other better way to die than dying for the Lord who laid His life for me? I guess not! Thus, TO LIVE IS CHRIST AND TO DIE IS GAIN. :)

Right now it would be easy to say, "Yes, I would give my life!" But what if you were truly truly faced with that situation? I don't know what I would do. It's so easy for me to sit here, to type, and to say, "Yes, I would give my life", but I don't know if I would or not when actually faced with a gun pointed to my head, ready to blow out my brains. I pray to God I would.

My missionary-sister had an experience of having a gun pointed at her. When the gunman pulled the trigger, she exercised her authority in the name of Jesus. The gun malfunctioned and no bullets came out. The gunman tried again and still failed. When my sister left, the gunman pulled the trigger from afar and it finally worked but could no longer reach her.

Cow, if you are dead to self, crucified and alive in Christ, there is no need to fear for He will send His angels concerning you...they will bear you up with their hands... We only have to give all for Christ and He will take care of the rest. By faith, we can do all things through Christ who gives us strength.

Our conviction should be this: EVEN IF we are not delivered from the gun, we should still be willing to GIVE OUR LIVES to Christ for HE is the only One who truly deserves our lives.

God bless you. :)

Alright, let me say this: are you more scared of a gun, or the wrath of God? That should make your decision for you. :-D
