Verse 1: Mary was her name, no one understood, the price it took, and the bravery she had. To come before the Master, her life an open book, so much sin and shame she had, no doubt about it. She knelt before His feet, her tears flowing freely, and she washed his feet with her tears and her precious alabaster....
Chorus: She received a new beginning. Her life was never the same again. For the Savior loved her, no matter how she’d been. She paid the price, and now she's free indeed.
Verse 2: Oooo, no one could know, how she felt that day, but I think I have an idea, for my life was just the same. O, but one day I had to do something, so I knelt before His feet, at an altar. Then He said to me, “Child, I still love you, why did you leave me? I’ve always been with you. Just lately you’ve been ignoring me. Child, I love you. Please come back to my side. I want to be with you forever, I never want to let you go.” Then I cried out “Lord forgive me” and he said “Alright it’s done. As far as the east is from the west, you’re sins are now gone”.
Chorus: I received a new beginning, my life was never the same again, for the Savior still loved me, no matter how I’d been. I had paid the price by pushing aside my fears, and now I’m free indeed.
Bridge: I have paid the price, and now I’m free indeed.
