I have been a Christian for a lot of years but had backslidden about as bad as one can be. I recently rededicated myself to Christ and felt I needed not only to rededicate myself to the Lord but also confess sins I had commited to my Loved ones especially my wife.
I had been unfaithful to her and did confess my infidelity to her. She is a very moral and strong person in God, but I am so scared right now that she can not find it in her heart to forgive me and I don't want to go the rest of lifes journey withouth her.
I am asking that you pray for my wife and I and that we can bring all this to the Lord through prayer and our faith and that we can not only salvage our marriage but make it stronger

You guys can make it. I have been their. Just remember you sinned against God through your wife. It is divine forgiveness you need. Their is no divine forgiveness without Godly sorrow. Don't be fooled into thinking worldly sorrow is Godly sorrow. It is God's heart sin breaks and you will only turn from and repent from a sin when you experience God's heart towards you sin. I have felt Godly sorrow. I know what it means to break Gods heart. The pain that sin does to God will bring you to your knees. The pain is something you cannot forget. Saying your sorry is not Godly sorrow. I pray like David you experience the heart of God. Sorrow is a gift ask and receive. My prayers to you.
