Dear Seifer, this is such a pleasure to answer, because I was in the same condition once. Let’s see, I think it was about 60 years ago. I think I was 8 years old, and she was at least nine. I can still remember bragging to my mom how she had said hi to me; I was in love. Next came the 6th grade, and a new girl came into class and took notice of me- wow, was she beautiful. Notes were passed to an in-between that said something in the manner of, I like her if she likes me. No body would ever replace that girl, and strangely I remember her name as Linda. When I was you age, I was ready to marry every woman of 15 that so much as kindly said hi to me. It seems strange now that when I became their age, the present girls of that age didn’t seem to have near the allure that those cheer leaders in High School had. Was I simply attracted to old women?

No Seifer, do not dream of someone the Lord has not brought you, because I guarantee that you would not be satisfied very long. Enjoy your youth as I tell all, because it only comes around once, and you are already looking to bypass it to be the age of the girl you like. There is a scripture verse that addresses this Seifer. Ecclesiastes 1:8 . . . the eye is not satisfied with seeing, nor the ear filled with hearing. This is saying that nothing man sees or hears is going to satisfy him. And though this next verse is not in the context it was meant for, I believe it is as a type applicable to this. Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

May God bless you to know the will of God for your life, and not be taken in by every pretty smile of those older women. Very soon the ones your own age, and younger will look good, and God may already have the one you will remain with for the rest of your life picked out for you. Wait on the Lord Seifer and you will never be sorry. May God open your eyes to see this in Jesus’ precious name – larry :)

Umm, I guess that's true, but I don't just like her because she said hi or anything. And I think shes beautiful, but shes kinda *cough* without her glasses. I mostly just like her because she's really kind, caring, a great singer, she fences, is intelligent, serving, optimistic, and outgoing. I couldn't stop liking her if I tried. There's not one other thing I'd change about her, except I don't really know what's her status with videogames, because I love videogames, but she doesn't really talk about them, so I don't know. Anyway, that's irrelevant. Not to sound rude, larry, but I am only half satisfied with your advice, and would like a bit more.

Oh well, I wanted to add the following. She always attends the Traditional Service and I attend Contemporary, but I'm gonna join the choir, which she's in. It's too late for takes backs now, and shes not the only reason I want to join anyway. I loooove to sing. But, yeah. Further advice would help.
