My Rosebud

I am a beginner so tell me what you think. Please.:)

My Rosebud
As i sit in a class and ponder over my test
I look out into the sky and wonder
If we always live in dark, stormy weather where would my rosebud be?
If we always lived in sunny weather my rosebud would die.
And if we always lived in winter my rosebud would be frozen away.
My rosebud is not an ordinary one.
In sun it would never play
In winter it would be shocked.
In storms it wouldn't know how to coup
But my rosebud is a soul and it needs al the seasons to last it thru the trials.
