Permanent legal seperation

I have been considering Divorce from my drug addicted Husband. but I just found out that in the state that we live I have another option. I can do a permanent legal seperation. I can in my eyes have no other relationships but I can be free of my husbands abusive behavior. Thanks to all who answered my previous post about the sin of divorce to make me look deeper into the law for self protection.

God does hate divorce, but you will not be condemned to hell for it.. Unless your husband has sexually cheated on you, you are not free to remarry. If he has you are free to divorce and remarry.
