Hi All:
Just happened by this evening and found this site: couldn't help but be intrigued.
Mine is not a very glamourous life, these are the highlights.
I love books. I really love My Father's book, it's the one I can't get enough of.
I work at our local public library. I have the greatest job there. I get to shelve the books. So, everyday of my life I am around and handle and look at books, and work with people who like them as well.
There a number of Christians at work and we sometimes talk about God, and what He has been doing in our lives.
On my next birthday I will be a half a century old. As old as everyone else was when they were the same age.
Humour is a central component of my life. I guess you can tell from the spelling that I am either from England or a former colony. I'm from Canada.
A little while ago my pastor asked me to take over the church library. I hummed and hahhed, and couldn't decide, and thought it over for about half a second: guess what my answer was?
The great things I am finding out lately is that God truly is in charge. It doesn't matter what I do, God is the one holding it all together. The battles are His, the glory is His, the universe is His. I took out some of my stories and poetry to put on a little website (I was given some space on someone else's computer[html is neat, but frustrating]), and found that the words I write make sense to me only when they about God, or the loneliness of not being with Him.
I tend to be a bit wordy, and I am guessing that I am way past the word limit, so I'll end by saying what for me is the most wonderful thing ... God loves and cherishes me, and allows me to love Him. It's all about ABBA.
