Hello.
My name is John, I am a born again Christian and I also have my own web site and forum. I am looking forward to meeting new friends, and engaging in friendly debate.
I live in Ontario, Canada...eh!
I am married and have four children and two grandchildren...I am 44 years old, and have been saved for approx twenty years, although God took His time reforming me!:-)
I am disabled and cannot work due to chronic pancreatitis. I actually lost my brother Jim in 2003 due to pancreatic cancer, which I do not have.
My brother had the Whipple surgery which is extreemly intrusive, and his chances of survival without surgery was about two months, and with the surgery, there were no guarantees that he would survive the surgery, but he could possibly have lived for upto a year if the surgery was successful. My brother found all this out when he was just 42 years old, and he had a wife and four daughters, so he took the gamble and had the surgery.
I'll keep this short - Jim did not believe in any God when he was diagnosed. I thought I would have lots of time to minister to Jim, so I didn't go too deep with Jim prior to his illness. Once he survived the surgery and actually got home, I started in at him.
It took me three years to hear my brother say he had accepted Jesus, and at three years after surgery Jim was a case study for longevity following the surgery.
I believe with no doubt, that God gave my brother exactly enough time to be saved because one month later, my dear brother dropped to his death in front of his wife, kids, and kids friends onto the kitchen floor. I arrived minutes after the fall, and he was gone when I got to him.
Thank Jesus! He gave my brother eternal life!
