Marriage Prayer

This is my first posting. I have read through many of the postings and threads and it warms my heart to see how supportive all you prayer warriors are. I did not grow up in a God fearing home. I was taught that there was a God, but we never prayed or went to church. I have recently started reading and studying the bible. I want to learn how to live my life according to Gods plan, I want to make myself a better person.

My husband and I have been married for 10 years. We have 3 beautiful daughters. ( 2 of our own ages 9 and 5 and he has a 14 year old daughter from a previous relationship.) He recently told me that he wants a divorce. He said he still loves me, but is not in love with my anymore. He just needs to be alone. We just closed a business in April of this year and are going through a pretty nasty bankruptcy. We had a 24 year old girl who was working for us and she and my husband have formed a very close friendship. I honestly don't think that he has had a physical affair with her, but I do believe that he is having an emotional affair with her. I have expressed my discomfort to him regarding his relationship with this girl, but he is unwilling to give his friendship up with her. I love my husband very much and I took our marriage vows seriously. I want our marriage to work and I want him to come home and be the wonderful husband and father that I know he is. I prayer everyday for the restoration of my marriage and family. I pray for strength, wisdom and faith during this time. I pray for my children, who are having a very difficult time with our seperation.

Please if you prayer warriors could pray:

for my husband to find God and to come home to work on our marriage and family.
Pray for my children and their emotional hurts and anger.
Pray for me to have strength, patience and faith. Also, please pray for me to come to know God and to live my life according to his gospel. Thank you and God Bless all of you.

just as your first birth which you had no control over, the second birth comes not by your power, but by the power of God.
Joh 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?

believing in is trusting, you must believe in that what he says he will do and is able to acomplish it.

if you are not saved do you realize you are a sinner?
do you realize the end of your path of sin?
do you realize you can never stand before God on your own merits or on how hard you try to be acceptable in His sight?
do you realize that he came and died for you, paid the price of your sins?

if you do then there is good news.

Ro 10:3 For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.
4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
5 For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.
6 But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above)
7 Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)
8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
12 ¶ For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

believe what God says, call on the Lord Jesus in faith. don't try to work for it because it must be by grace through faith..(believe it when he says whosoever shall call) and trust that he is able to save you and will save you. invite Hime into your heart, then the change comes after you are saved...He will then wash the inside so that the outside may be clean also. ...god bless
