I've recently rediscovered my faith after fifteen years of being an atheist thanks to an amazing girl who I have fallen deeply in love with. We get on fantastically well and both really enjoy spending time together. We would be perfect together... Only thing is, I used to date her sister who I was with for over three years. I am desperate to live my life in a Christian way and am utterly confused about what I should do about this girl. I would really appreciate any advice on the matter.

Does it bother either of the sisters?

If both ladies are okay with it then I wouldn't worry too much about it.

If there are aspects of the former relationship you regret, ask God for forgiveness and continue on. If you need to ask the former sister for forgiveness for anything, do so.

If there is a problem with either lady then make sure you are open and honest with the sister you are dating. Do not discount any of her feelings especially if you feel she has nothing to worry about. Address all of concerns and really listen to what her concerns are. Assure her of your committment.

If you are both sure that you are who God has for each other then keep in prayer about the relationship and allow no one to derail it.

I hope all works out well for you.
