The truth is this, my mind's a mist.
I can hardly bear the thought,
Of my life lived out
In the shadow of doubt,
While turmoil and strife is my lot.
At times it is true, I must confess
My heart is blue, I so need a rest.
But from my pride I cannot hide,
Nor can a bitter tear I weep,
For a life lived out
In the shadow of doubt,
Is a life lived in grief.

Robb W. G.

This is a poem that I wrote about three years ago, it speaks volumes to me when I am in doubt, or Disbelief, of my salvation or feeling seperate from God.
Because of space concerns on the website I could not wite the poem in it's entirety as it is here. So the difference of two words to those who might notice changes the meaning little.

It can be found on poetry.com

Robb I really like this although it is very sad. :-( But hey certain circumstances give us the food for thought that is required to write our poems do they not?

Don't separate yourself from God too often. Some verses just quoted to me from a friend in here.

Jeremiah 29 verse 11 - 14

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you, says the Lord, and I will bring you back from your captivity: I will gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you says the Lord and I will bring you to the place from which I cause you to be carried captive.Aren't these great words of comfort Robb - I think so. ;)
