The birth of the Lord almighty is tonight
There was not and will never be a similar night
For that little baby is our glorious god
He has come to set us free and show His love.
He wanted to show us the way
That we lost when we went astray.
Lord, I wonder how much You love man
That You left Your glory in heaven and
Decided to be a man like us
As You wanted to deliver us.
If I was born in a manger, I would be ashamed
But You chose what to no baby was made
To let us no more be ashamed
Of sins we always make.
Although it wasn’t a human place,
I am sure You were happy there
Thank You, Lord for giving me the peace I need
