My Christian Walk

For so long I didn't walk, so I would crawl to You

I'd cry for You to lift me up, like You'd always do



Then I began to grow and learn and know You're always with me

I began to call You Father and walk where You would lead me



Now I'm still growing everyday, I'm growing close to You

Walking in Your way and light, along the path of Truth



Sometimes when You'd make a turn, I would go the other way

You would gently nudge me, so I'd not get lost and stray



Sometimes I'd get so weary when the road is long and hard

But You don't leave me to give up, You hold me in Your arms



Step by step, one at a time, You walk with me each day

You let me know You love me in Your amazing ways



You always hear and listen to me, You know what I'm going to say

Lord, with all my heart I love You and this is what I pray



"Help me Lord to walk with You, to draw close to You today

Help me to walk in Your love and in all Your ways



Help me to walk by faith and not by what I see

Right and pleasing in Your sight, humbly and honestly



Lord, I want to know You more, You are my all and all

I will follow You all my life in my Christian walk
