I am a pastor's kid at the age of 14. My dad bacame a pastor at the end of my 6th grade year in school, trust me this is harder than most of you think. Well around the middle of the summer between 8th and 9th grade years I attended my state church camp. There God moved through me in mighty ways. However when I got into high school my life changed and I began to fall away from God. And the crowd I was with wasn't helping. So I was already chatting on this site, and one day i was singing a very bad song on here and the people began to talk to me and tell me to stop. This made me think, was I really that far from God? So I went to a local youth group one night and redeticated my life to God. I would like to thank the people of this site in helping me. You all are my true friends. God Bless!

I am a pastor's kid at the age of 14.
I just got back from church and the sermon topic was 'community'...
I would like to encourage you to not only hang out here, but find some Christian friends that you can hang out with on a regular basis.
'The teens' are a hard time and I think you'll get through it much better than I did if you have some friends that will help keep you pointed towards God.
Building up 'community' can be work, but if you don't work at it, you get to be long time loners like me and my wife.
This message is not as much about some old crusty guy orderin' you around as it is a hope that I can pass on knowledge so that all the stuff I went though might sereve a positive purpose.
God bless you,

Amen! That is great you rededicated your life to Christ, without Him we would be nothing but dead and with out purpose!

Amen! You said it perfectly, I couldn't agree with you more.
It's good to see people turn their way back to God, nothing makes me more prouder to see that. :-)
