Yes, God can make things right. Pray and receive the Lord and tell Him what is going on in your life. Ask Him for comfort and wisdom and He will come to you. I rejoice with you that He has drawn you to Himself. I will pray for you as well.
May God continue to show His mercy to you Shannon.

Jesus Christ is the only way to have our sins forgiven and to have a relationship with God which results in eternal life.
"But God demonstrated His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8). Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me" (John 14:6).
Believe in Him, receive the forgiveness that He offers.
"To all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God" (John 1:12).
"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16).
Don't put it off for another time. Accept God's gift of life today!
The Bible says: "It is appointed for men to die once, and after this comes judgment." (Hebrews 9:27) Someday, each of us must stand face to face with the God of creation. What happens at that judgment depends upon the decisions you are making right now.
Pray, ask God to forgive you and accept the gift of salvation that Jesus Christ gives freely to those who ask. It is a gift and all you have to do to recieve this gift is to reach out in faith and take it.
I am praying for you.

Shannon, From your posts, I know you believe in God but do you know my Jesus? He loves you so much that He gave His life for you.
We are all sinners. God says there is none righteous, no not one.
Have you accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior? God is able to forgive you of sin because Jesus took the punishment for your sins and if you turn from your sins and ask God to forgive you based on Jesus's death and resurrection, God WILL forgive you. He will remember your sins no more.
1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness
Jesus is able to forgive you and then keep you from temptation. Trust in Him.

Shannon, we must deny ourselves of being good (self righteousness), repent (turn from sin). You ask "what is God' line"... But what does the word say? "the word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart" (that is the word of faith that we proclaim); because if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. For the scripture says, Everyone who believes in Him will not be put to shame. (Romans 10:8-11)
You ask, "at what point does He say no?" In John 6:37 it says, "All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out."
Shannon, draw near to Him "for He is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them. (Hebrews 7:25)
I recommend Shannon, that you would place yourself around other's who love Christ and ask them to pray for you and to give you encouragement as you walk with the Lord Christ. He will bring you through this because He is able to.
May God comfort you in this time of need.

Yes! Jesus will forgive you ! :) He does not condemn you.....but He does require everyone who believes in Him to repent of their sins, be baptized in His name for the remission of those sins, and then He will fill you with His Spirit. The Holy Ghost will give you the power to walk in the Spirit and not fulfil the lust of the flesh. But it is important that we continue to walk(or live) in the Spirit, so that we will not be drawn away from Him again by our own lust.
God Bless You Shannon!
We have all sinned and come short of the glory of God, but Jesus has made a way for us to get forgiveness!

Shannon,
I would encourage you to read John 8 and see the compassion that Jesus had for the adulterous woman.
John 8
10When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?
11She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

Gabriel,
Please, please pray for me because I am scared that God has his breaking point.
God indeed does have his ‘breaking point’ shannon. So many Christians continue to deliberately sin even after God's warnings and I think perhaps the Holy Spirit has brought the spirit of fear upon you. It does not mean you are lost [yet] but sinning against the Holy Spirit is unforgivable [Mt 12:31]. I suggest you renew your vows to God and keep out of temptation's way. This can only be done by pursuing Godly pursuits.
" Lu 11:24 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out.
25 And when he cometh, he findeth it swept and garnished.
26 Then goeth he, and taketh to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself; and they enter in, and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first."
God will remove our sins as far as the east is from the west if we Go to Him through Christ our mediator. God will forgive you if you seek Him with your whole heart, do not be ashamed. God has given us this life for a reason. Study his word and look to him when you need help, he can provide you with more love then any human can. I wish i could give you a hug for the realization you have come to. Suggestion would be to read the psalms and see how forgiving God can be. Especially how David prayed after he went in with bathsheeba, this teaches us all how to ask for forgivesness.
May God be with YOU>>>>
We have all been in the situation of the adulterous women, when we feel so filthy, that is why Christ came, to cleanse us, for when we are weak then we are strong after we look to the author and finisher of our faith.
Gods people are so supportive!!!!

Yes. God will forgive you. He is greater than us, and his love is greater than we can imagine. He will forgive you if you ask him, and regret the wrongs you've done. :)
That you feel ashamed only showes that you want to repent. It is a natural part of your conciousness. That you have gone so far, as to ask other people (Christians) about it, also reveals that you want to be forgiven. God sees it, and He will accept you. Just go ahead, and pray to Him: Father forgive me in the name of Jesus. Amen. And your sins are gone.
I'll pray for you sister Shannon

I know first hand, that God allows His children(the saved), to always come back to seek His will! But, as mentioned above--have you ever asked Jesus, God's Son, to forgive you and truely turn away from your"old" self--and allow God to see your heart as pure and as innocent, as Jesus' blood, that cleansed us all from eternal damnation? It's not how you pray for salvation, but what He needs to hear from your prayer! And, even though as His children, you must seek those who will help you understand God's Word. I am so glad to sense the Spirit of God talking to you, because very few people today wouldn't confess, what you are confessing! God uses some of us, to be that seed, to others like us or those around us! Some of the greatest people in the Bible--didn't start that way! But, He used them in ways to better the kingdom! I'll be praying for you!

The only unpardonable sin is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. God will forgive you if you ask for forgiveness. You must also forgive yourself. Jesus died for ALL of your sins, don't forget that! This is why you can repent! May God lay a healing hand on your heart.

Temptation is strong, but the Lord is stronger. I have a good verse...
1 Corithians 10:13 "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but with temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it."
A strong and very powerful verse. No temptation is too great for us. Drugs, etc. With the Lord, we can defeat any temptation. My adice would be to meditate on this verse and really dig into scripture. Make sure the Lord is first in your life and that no earthly pleasures are before God. That goes for work, as well. There should always be time for God. The Lord will forgive you and deliver you, from this sin, if you truly want to end this sin and truly try. Pray to God, read scripture, meditate on it. Always look and consider your ways, before acting. Sin may bring pleasure, but it won't bring happiness. It brings one away from the Lord, the true source of happiness. Take care.

Hello Shannon, The verse you are thinking of is
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
I'm not sure I understand your question about how much to give to God and how much to give to Jesus. Could you explain this a little more for me. How much what?
BTW - Jesus is God who became man. God is triune, (being three in one, Trinity) One God, who manifests himself in three separate and distinct persons, God the Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. Together they are God, separate they are God. Although we can not fully comprehend this, it is what the Bible teaches us and we accept it by faith.

Hi Shannon,
The Bible tells us that Whne we accept Jesus into our hearts, that We are forgiven for our past sins. We are a new creature in Christ. Old things are passed away, behold all things aare become new. We are all sinners and Christ paid the ultimate price so that any and all sin can be forgiven. Remember what Jesus said to the prostitute? Your sins are forgiven, Go and sin no more! Evewn after we are Christians we fail and fall but In 1 John it tells us that If we confess our sin (to God) He is aithful and just to forgive us for our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. The Bible says also that as far as the East is from the West (how far is that) That is how far God has removed our sin from Us. OPur forgiveness does not rest on our ability not to sin, it rests on Gods' Faithfulness and Christs work on the cross. You are forgiven my friend if you simply told Jesus youi are sorry and asked Him to forgive you. Check out Don Francisco Live in Concert. My sister was very loose for many years and was very blessed by his music particularly his song "I don't care where you've been sleeping" God bless you Chau for now. P.S. take a concordance and look up forgiveness in the Bible. God bless you Shannon

Shannon,
Jesus died on the cross for OUR sins...yours, mine, and everyone else's! If we ask Him for His forgiveness, and choose to walk in His path, all can be forgiven. We've all done things in our lives which make us feel guilty or ashamed, but God loves us so much He sent His only son to take that away from us. We only need to lay it at His feet, and leave it there, and we are forgiven. You can move on from this, and have a wonderful life with God! I will keep you in my prayers. :)
May God bless you!

Hi Shannon
First of all I just want to say, what a brave thing you have done to share such a personal struggle in your life.
I would like to draw your attention to Proverbs 25:28 " Whoever has no rule over his spirit. Is like a city broken down, without walls."
Shannon I believe you have a problem with bounderies. Bounderies are good and healthy. They are the walls of your city/soul. Through the circumstances in your life, your boundaries have been violated and what you shared with us is just a symtom of bigger issues that you have to deal with.
I have some questions to ask, do you have a good relationship with your dad? Did you grow up feeling loved by your family? Do you struggle with the feelings of rejection and feeling accepted? If yes then you need to be healed in these areas.
God has a promise for you, 1 John 1:9 "If you confess your sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"
Keep this in mind, God the Father also expects us to grow up in our faith and take responsibility. We enter his kingdom as children and the Bible speaks about us growing up and maturing in the faith of Christ. This is the expectation of every parant, for the children they love.
God the Father loves you!!!!! And He wants you to succeed and overcome.
James 4:7 "Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you."
If you will humble yourself and submit to God's authority when you are tempted by the enemy, you will have victory. Also have girlfriends that love the Lord, stand with you in this testing of your faith.
God bless

As long as they are alive, anyone can repent and be saved. Once you're dead, there is no opportunity for repentance and salvation.
I have slept with so many men, I am so ashamed but that I have not been more carefull, can I make this right, do I stil have the opportunity?
Shannon,
Absolutely. None of us is without sin were all born into sin because of Adam and Eve. Also read Acts 2:38, which states essentials on how to be saved. And whatever you do, do it all in the name of Jesus Christ (Col 3:17). Please be sure you have been baptized in the name of Jesus (not Father, Son, and Holy Ghost; these are titles...His name is Jesus. Otherwise your sins are still on you. Then strive to live a righteous life. I don't recall the scripture at this time but it says something like "go therefore and sin no more". Much love Shannon

Of course you can repent! Only God will judge you. Also it is so important that once you have asked God to forgive you, you need to forgive yourself so that you can move on, and atone for the wrong done. Ask Jesus to bless your plans to live a better life, and have the faith that He will. and trust me, He does!

for you to come out means you are on your way to recovery. the bible says that we are surrounded by a great loud of witnesses. in this crowd are those who know what its like to fall and get up and fall again but still rise in whatever sin. you are not alone. we a cheering you on with the rest so just continue running to the finish line. don't make the mistake of looking at your past for 'old things are passed away,..behold all things are new. Accept Jesus as Lord and personal Saviour and the peace of God will keep you. God Bless.
I believe if you truly feel remorse for the actions you've taken, then everything will be ok. God forgives us so many times, He loves you and understands we make mistakes. The devil tries to bring up our past, but we should remind him of his inevitable future! Just try your hardest to well.

It is controversial what the Bible means by the unforgivable sin. I personally like this simple definition: the unforgivable sin is refusing to be forgiven.
